With the sensor function, the light bar turns on when you get close to it. But because it has a daylight sensor, it only turns on when it's dark - smart, right?
The light turns on by itself when moving within 1-3 meters at a 150º angle and turns off automatically after 20 seconds without movement - that way you save energy and the battery lasts much longer. The sensor itself registers when there is daylight and only turns on when it's dark.
